My name is Anna Czajak and I am the owner of Anna’s Cheeky Faces. Creativity and art has been my lifelong passion.

 

Having moved to Ireland as a young adult, I am now based in Derry where I first started painting faces at the Fleadh Cheoil Doire festival in 2013. I immediately fell in love with the craft and decided to take it to a professional level. From then on, I have been busy establishing a professional face & body painting business.

 

Continuous training and honing one’s skills are essential for a creative business. Over the years I have attended numerous professional face and body painting workshops and conventions as well as make-up master classes. I love learning from the best artists in the industry. I have also completed make-up and photography courses at a local college where I now do workshops of my own alongside master classes for private clients and organisations, both in face painting and special effects make-up.

With a background in Childcare and as a former nursery assistant, I know how to connect with children of all ages and I just love making them happy.

 

I have won multiple awards in various international face and body painting competitions including five top awards for creative face painting. I was also a runner-up in the full body painting contest at the 2019 Irish Body Painting Championship. I have been featured in international and local magazines such as Illusion Magazine and Local Women Magazine.
